Cheapest Mission Natural Bookcase 4-Shelf

Well constructed, sturdy, and attractive,.
UPS delivered the item undamaged. I opened the box and found the wood protected with tie down cords, and foam. The wood has a natural finish and looks very clean and attractive. The grain of the wood is light, with some areas that are less light. The instuctions were attached to the shelves. The wood was labeled for easy assembly. I assembled the shelving according to the instructions with no problems. It scares me to think some adults had problems with this assembly. We might need a competency test in America... Be careful not to "over tighten" the hex nuts or you could split the shelving board. All the drill holes were aligned and worked perfectly. All the "nuts" and bolts" were included. 3 of the 4 "self tapping" screws to attach the solid wood top to the shelving were included. The solid wood top does not have predrilled holes.

The shelving is very solid, and sturdy when assembled properly. I am very happy with it, it does NOT sway, or need extra bracing. It stands alone and has a tight, clean fit.

I would recommend this product. I'd give it 5 stars if it was American made and came with all the screws.

This product comes from Vietnam. I wish Americans made products like this.

I will be buying more items like this in the future.

I absolutely love this piece of furniture... the only downside is that if all the peices aren't present you have to wait for replacement parts to come because the hardware is too unique to buy at a local hardware store.
Target is willing to send me the replacement parts (shelf supports)but I need the DCPI number for this specific peice. If anyone could send it to me I'd be so very very happy!

We found this product less than appealing. The first box the product was poorly made and the drilled holes were not in alignment. There was large dark knots in the wood that were covered up poorly with paint. For a target item in this series, it is very poor construction. The second box was some better but the whole bookshelf is not well made. We also found the shipping on this item EXTREMELY expensive. Unfortunately, our Target stores do not carry the item or we would have looked at the product first in the store. We have several items from this line and so far this is the poorest value and worst made

Cute, clean, simple & a good price
I've been buying the mission pieces for my living room because I wanted something that looked nice, but didn't cost alot. I had no problem putting them together, and I like the 2 adjustable shelves. They have even held up to the testing from my very ingenious 7 year old. I would definately buy them again.

This looked great, small enough for the space, still able to hold a lot of stuff. I was extremely disappointed in the way it went together. I had to make some adjustments, which I should not have to do for a brand new piece of furniture. If I could, I would give this no stars. It is very unfortunate, because I have purchased the sofa table, and that piece of furniture is quite nice and sturdy.
